What’s your superpower?
During a design-thinking workshop the team was asked to draw our super power.
I drew bubbles. Luckily I didn’t have much time to overanalyse so that was my honest answer. Bubbles was my way to represent the effervescence, enthusiasm and energy which is my superpower. I believe we all have unique skills that deserve to be
nurtured, and I love using my superpower to bring people together and lead them to be the best that they can be.

Over my career, I've had the opportunity to help strengthen teamwork and collaboration, encouraging an atmosphere where team members don't compete against each other but support and help one and other to improve, both personally and in their craft.
I influence design thinking across the business, driving organisational transformation initiatives by organising and facilitating training sessions, design thinking workshops and other productive thinking activities:
Talks and meet-ups
Praiting about an Elephant - talk on collaboration for Dublin UX 2019.
Design Thinking guide
During my time at Viasat I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with Michel Meyer in the Rady School of Management in UC San Diego, on the Viasat's 'Design Thinking Guide', to transform the creative culture of the company to better adapt to software product development.
Product vision and strategy workshops
I organise and facilitate vision and strategy workshops involving the heads of all areas: sales, product, design, support, engineering and training.
These sessions help us:
• Gather the dispersed knowledge built over time in silos
• Build shared understanding of where we are today
• Build alignment of vision
• Understand value to audiences
• Identify critical success factors
• Define key goals and champions to achieve success
Design Thinking workshops
I organise and facilitate Design Thinking workshops that contribute to:
• Keep us focused on users and their experience
• Help to develop a shared understanding
• Enhance collaboration, alignment & team consensus
• Uncover the product features
• Help with planning releases
• Help with estimating
• Expose risks and dependencies
